Tutors select their own pricing and receive 70% of all prices charged to students. We (Kalvie) take a 30% commission as a fee for use of our platform. This helps us keep the lights on and put food on the table. đ
We recommend when you first sign up to keep your hourly price low in order to attract more students. Once you have enough students you can slowly start to increase your price.

Make sure to be fair as a student can easily find another tutor. We have built Kalvie to encourage students and tutors being fair to one another.
