Open the left hand menu, click the "Shared Notes" link which will open the notes window, and you are ready to go!
Shared notes is a great tool if you want to type in a text editor method. It acts similar to a text editor giving you formatting options. You can also download the notes at any point which we highly recommend as these are not included in the recordings.
